Well this time around no excuses that i din blog.... the crap thing called college kept on going until it hit exams and it took over the mantle, and then what happened is i became lazy as ever and stopped doing everything i usually do... ie nothing to be true....
so coming to the blog... small update is that my bro has come US of America !!!
i told him to get me nothing and he did that fine... but one chocolates !!! he got me loads of chocolates !!! phew its like i eat chocolates for lunch and chocolates for dinner and did i mention about breakfast ? wel u know what....

downloaded all possible englees movies... i'm actually collecting movies which i like and the collection is going to reach 200 must be a week's time that happens...
so for u understand it better i have around 140 GB of pure dvdrips !!! ;-) Bingo !!!

Just For Fun, Read it as Just 4 Bun !!!!
This particular incident happened a day or two back,i don't remember exactly when, still it was kinda funny !!!!!
Well there is a small group of guys who speak English to improve their English speaking skills and there was this guy called vasanth aka konai (Its his Nickname,Credit ;s Vinoth Anand).
It was during our lunch hour and Arun Karthik aka (Jack Fruit Head,Read it as pala pazham mandaiyan,Credits Sharan.R) was with vasanth and his little gang.When Arun saw vasanth's watch he asked vasanth "machan watchoda velai enna" As vasanth was busy honing his english skills he turned around in 90's Tamil flick style and replied "Actually,the time in my watch is 1400 hrs,which is 10 Min's faster than the Indian Standard Time.So the correct time is 1350 hrs dude".Arun Karthik was left speechless and thought for a second what he asked him for and arun put his hand around vasanth and told machan i asked for the rate of the watch and not the time... !!! and everyone in the gang heard this and started to hahahaha !!!! And vasanth was like @$*(&$@)(@ don ask me what.

15-07-08 The day when i was vetti like any other day and then i switched on my PC so that i can do something which will really help me waste some time and then some more time !!!! and the process goes on... And yea i just finished watching Kung Fu Panda.Which completes the list of all the movies i wanted to watch.
The list of movies i saw this month and which i would recommend you to watch:
Hulk 2 (I don think its a gr8 movie but its just ok to watch)

Get Smart [comedy + James bond kinda Flick ;)]

Edited My Orkut Profile !!!!
Phew it took me few minutes to delete all that was in my orkut profile !!!! And to be true it was really hard for me to delete all those chweet scraps from my friends and fans !!! o yea fans ;-) And It was even harder for me to delete the contents in my profile !!!! i loved every line of it !!!! well then the reason i deleted all of it was just that because i didn't add anything new in my profile for nearly 10-12 months.I got bored actually, So thought will return back to ground level from where orkut started !!!! I hope it will be filled with even cooler text.

I'm not giving it a title
Well i promised I'd be blogging regularly and i failed !!!! bad me
Well some update from my side
College has re-opened and I'm yet to go to college.The reason being me having a bloody back ache,and i was sitting in front of my PC thinking what to do. Voila then it stuck like a lightning...lightning its a lil old saying lets say it stuck me like a OK fine lightning I'm not able to think anything new right now had a heavy lunch !!!! phew and here's my post for the day....
The Tech Coolie
For some long time i was planning to write this article and now its here,i wanted this to be my first post in my blog but only now its here.....
At this point of time,every one who just finished their schooling plans to get into some college. Be it Engg or Arts they have their choices.Its really good that they know what they want,still there are some who joins the college in some dept' just cos his/her relative told that he'll get placed in some MNC.Also there are people who want to get into Top notch colleges irrespective of the dept the reason they give here is "Placement". I simply hate it when people put it that way.
For some reason i attended a meeting in which the owner of one of Coimbatore's Top college was the chief guest[lets name him Mr.X].The speech he gave made me write this article.
The mind set of every parent and the child who's going to join the college is that they need to work in a MNC,a software company.This happens even before he/she gets a seat in the college.some even have this as an ambition[getting into a s/w company!!! Duh]. I'm not against people joining s/w companies,you'll get my point when you read this completely.And after getting into college he/she always thinks of placements.His/Her first idea is to get placed,once he/she is place he/she is on the verge of double placements,triple placements [matter of pride i guess]. Whats the point in getting placed in two or three companies,anyway he/she is going to work under some boss of theirs who is again work in under someone else,the cycle goes on...
During a visit to Germany Mr.X happened to speak to a CEO of a popular s/w firm based in the US of America. That CEO just referred to all those people working in software companies as "technology coolies" He also validated his point asking how many students get to join the MNC's and how many go on to make innovations or start a company on their own !!!. Worth Thinking right ??? No Doubt Germany has produced so many scientists. Its just true the question he asked is worth a million.
Just take the my college or my class for instance,everyone wants to get placed through the campus placement program,and the craziest part is everyone has started joining Aptitude classes and people throng the place like a cinema !!![the one who runs this is literally minting money,clever guy ;)] The point here is no one wants to be on their own they need a support system for everything they do even to get placed they need someone to help them.I'm asking why not use the same person or someone else who can help you to unleash your dream !!!
At this rate at which India is giving out "Tech coolies" ,s/w professionals. India will be a hub just to do some work which is given by some s/w firm.China is set to take over that coolie mantle from us in a very short span of time say 20-30 years from now....they need their people to get employed and for the population they have,they can simply take over all the vacancies in the field that's true.If that happens everyone who was working for them stays and the new Engg's will be left marooned just like that without a job.Not to forget you get lost of benefits working for a MNC,so just imagine how much of comfort will the one who owns the MNC will get !!! Don't say "uh things are easy on the paper",Fine then how did he do it !!! If one can do it everybody else can also do it !
There has to be some point in doing things which you don't actually love to do,people who do software jobs initially claim that they are not interested in what they are doing.I mean the job ;-).But they still keep doing it. And they do say "dood, being a software engineer sucks big time" and you know want they still work in the same Field just that they are in a different company.Er... thats the end of the post ;-)

Last Post For The Month !!!
Both my lab exams are over,took a small break !!!
And the funniest part is that i never even touched my lab notes,expect when i was in the lab ;-)nothing much happend around me during these days because i din do anything other than study... er ok fine its hard believe..i know still thats 100% true.... ;-) i'm a good boy you know...

My Mini-project Presentation date...
There was so much voices around us sayin that its gonna be really tough,the external is very strict,we'l be asked so so questions...phew...Also the Projector crashed and we were asked to present the project without the slides,but they allowed to see it later,they provided us a laptop.But then the intresting thing is that Ashok my batch mate prepared the slides for the project.And onli he knows what the slides are about no one else did get to see a glimpse of it until,we went in...oh yea we... Me,Gowtham,Divya.And yea Ashok...Earlier he told us just the part which we are going to cover like intro,body of the project,assembly and conclusion. I went for Introduction because it is the part which need's less work.All you have to do is speak on the project for few minutes in English. And Bindaas!!it went on cool we were asked only a few questions as we all impressed the External with our solid presentation.After that we were made to wait till 3 for the external to see the demonstration of out project.After it was over,i asked my friend to drop me in the nearest bus stop which he did and then i reached home sooon. And now sitting in front of the pc hearing "Aasman ke hasare thare" by KK,Name of the album is Hum Safar... Thats about it for now...
PS : Exams are supposed to start from 29-04-08 and will end only by the end of second week i guess... So until then Take care... c ya all after that... Mwah ;-)

It was a Jam packed day...
12-04-08...
I'm listening to "kuch is tarah" by Atif Aslam.... one of my favourites.
First of all thanks to my friend archana who gave me her Dio,I'm able to do all my work !!!
Had lots work right from the time i woke up,right from Phone Bills to Shopping for mom !!! Finished all the work which mom gave me. Then i went out to get few of my books which i had given for photo copying last night,then went to meet my college mate blacky aka Balaji and then came back home and rested my back on the sofa and was flipping channels as usual.Then david,my school mate called up he asked me "machi wat time to come for the movie". Damn it stuck me like lightning i have told few of my friends to come for the movie !!!
Then I took off from home !!! Flying reached Gandhipuram...The venue was Raghu's house.Not to forget we had planned for the movie the earlier night,dunno how but.... frankly i forgot. Hmmm yea Karthik aka Doggy booked for the ticket... I was trying my level best to make sure that all our school Gang "Boyz" be present for the movie,bad luck we totalled only 6.[Me,Karthik,Peter,David,Venki,Raj] and there were also some 6-7 of them who were karthik's friend.
So Far i guess i haven't told you guys about the movie....Well its Santhosh Subramaniam....
Two Reason's we went for this particular movie :
1.Its the re-make of Telugu super hit "bommarillu"
2.Genelia !!!
Well It was a scene by scene re-make of the Bommarillu. In some scenes Genelia wore the same dress that she wore in Bommarillu !!! so sad.... Poor Producer could have shelled out more for this !!! The only thing which i din like about the moive was jeyam ravi !!! so sick he never fit the bill. Sidharth was cute,smart and the role in telugu was tailor made for him,Ravi looked so artificial for the entire part of first half and about second half...er i got used to his so called acting.Without Genelia...Phew i just cant imagine how it would have gone.The character which she played was so lively and got more cheers from the audience... The second half was full of sentiment,i was just not able to withstand it... Phew. The movie highlighted Father-Son sentiment to the core.
To scrap this small review about the movie in 2 words..."Family Movie" ;-)
And when we were going out of the theatre we all saw the movie's poster and venki read the tag line "love makes life beautiful" To which peter reciprocated with "this movie makes life terrible" Just that too much of sentiment in the movie made him say that....No big deal worth watching once !!!

I'm Back !!!!
And this is what ppl call a come back !!!
After a three 3 theen moonu lolz !! ok serious.... I'm back after a 3 month gap !!!
The Reason being very simple i was too lazy to take some time off to blog !!!
And now i got some time....er actually It is supposed to be study hols !!! yay !!! no not yay !!! but :(.... Ok now...Lots of cool things happend during these three months... cool things happend to me yea me !!! ;)
I'l just Highlight some of the Events yea u read it right events !!!
History of Sharan.R from dec 07-til date :)...I know its lil too much stil who cares its MY BLOG !!! Ahem *Grin*
*Got a new puppy...Now its doggy 3 months old !!! named Tommy.
*ummm yea i Sold my bike.
*Bunked lot of days in college.
*Got all those days marked present in the name of "OD".
*Yea our Dept' symposium "RESILIENCE 08",!t just rocked !!!
*Saw almost all the movies !!! went to yaar adi nee mohini lately (I day II show;) ).
*I Formatted my PC a record number of times.
*My bro got me a shiny new Digi cam:).
*Went to lot of other college symposium's.
*Had few B'day Party's (Peter,Kulu,David...Happy B'day guys ;))
*And today is the day we completed our mini project.
*o yea not 2 forget...i got my records signed !!! Phew greatest achievement :)!!

*our Dept Won the Overall championship trophy this year...Actually its a Hat-trick!!
