My New Website !!!!

Bingo !!! i said to myself !!! when i heard my bro tell me that the website which we worked on is up and working.After years of work put together,hard work... sheer hard work infront of the pc i did a lot of work for this site i was very glad and he told me i visit the site and add my feedback on "The Site" well i did and guess what it was not the site which i worked on !!! damn it !!! he told me bro its on its way out, you got to wait some more time. I didn't know what to tell i was like cool man. And the site it was actually kind of cool i liked the template... after all its my bro's site i must like it even if i didn't like it i should act like i like it [Rite bro ??]. I know he he he... but yea seriously its nice. So i guess you guys should visit the site and tell me about what all changes you would like to see in the site, so that it looks even more cooler. hope you guys do visit the site...oops i forgot its called "Touring Talkies" You better visit the site fellas. oh and about the title "My new website" happens you know after all its my blog, i get to write what i want ;) In the next post i'l tell you the story of "How I Became Sharan B.E."

Bored to fill this space

OK folks... I'm back after a short visit to GOC if you don't know what exactly it is... GOC stands for Gods Own Country, small trick of mine so i could have a little over two lines in the beginning. One very important thing i forgot to mention in my previous post is regarding "Idea Star Singer" Gosh people are mad about it !!! Mad in the sense MAD,M.A.D., MaD Yea this MAD about that show,people say its like a part of their life now. So i thought i could ask some people why they like the show and the female community were like "ideaaaaa staaarrrrrr sssiiiiinnnngggeeeerrr" you must have seen the last episode.... it goes on. And i approached a guy and asked him he was like i like it very very much but i have a reason and he told me "ISS starts at 2030 and goes on till 2200 Hrs or something,my folks at home get glued to their seats irrespective of whatever happens.So i make use of this time to Drink in my very own room until i get knocked out.Now i don't have to worry about my mom who scolds me when i come home late or getting a taxi to drop me home unconcious or whatever "

After that i stopped asking anyone at all and got pissed off with that idea of asking people, and started watching movies oh i forgot to tell you that i had taken with me a 120Gb HDD with movies all over it and i could see only one movie per day. It went on for a week or so and now i'm in coimbatore typing this post for you guys what now.... technically its the end of the post... oooooohhhhhh i'm getting good with the endings now. As you see... ok folks... see ya next....

I'm back...

well i know its getting too too too predictable.... the fact that i don't blog much or at least not that often as i promised to do so. Well that makes sense regarding the line "even Gods make mistakes" !!! All these days i was in kerala, purpose of the visit is to see places around in gods very own country !!! Damn it !!! it used to rain all day whenever i plan to step out of the house... so most of my plans were a flop... few things i felt my readers must know about kerala

1.Most of them are fond of tamil movies

2.There will be a strike whenever and wherever party people want !!!

3.Most of the people who drive are rash drivers.. well exception's do exist !!!

4.You can get DVDs of any movie you want very easily !!! just for 40 Rs !!! you name it they have it !!!

5.The traffic cops are very very strict !!! strictu strictu strictu !!!

6.The city of palakkad has the worst roads i have witnessed for a city !!!

7.you can rarely find people making errors in English, i mean in hoardings outside their shop unlike here !!!

8.Most of the people carry an umbrella irrespective of the climate.

9.All the Tea kadai's and bakery's play only Tamil FM channel's.

10.I thought of making a note of what all i thought i must blog... but it did not happen....

My uncle's Kid's.. there are three of them.... they made me watch "sutti tv" dora dora an interactive cartoon as they claimed it to be !!! They planned very well so that i don get a chance to change the channel,one took the remote and was running around,another was near the Tv just that i don get near it and last one co-ordinated and helped them achieve their target and they did manage to pull it... oh well i remember seeing ghost buster's in tamil !!! gosh i wont forget a scene where one of the ghost buster puts a terror mokka !!! yebba... the situation was like tis

I'l be going back to God's own country on 13 or 14th of this month... after i'm back i'l add what all i missed now...

T20 version of Exams !!!!

Cricket has reached exciting levels with the introduction of twenty twenty. If the same thing was Infused into exams, it would have been something like this :-

1. Reduce exam duration to 1 hr and marks to 50.

2. Introduce strategic break after 45 minutes.

3. When out of portion question is asked,Give free hit, that is a chance for students to frame their own questions and write answers.

4. 1st 15 minutes power play, that is no invigilator in the exam hall.
(My personal favourite)

5. Introduce fair play awards.

6.If a student fails give super over option where professors will be asked questions by stud's and relative scoring :)

6.Cheer girls to cheer for every correct answer written! (This is gr8! i love this!)

OK fellas.... Now this part of my life.... No not now few weeks back.... rewind rewind..... ok yea that's it... enough of rewind.... lets hit it.... that part of my life was called the end of college life to be more specific... End of Engg... now i can also say "Naangalum Engineer !!!" (yea three exclamatory marks) its not a big deal still... a great achievement considering "Anna University" that one bloody big univ.... gosh ok enough about the univ and all.... Now back to the story... there are more than 270 Engg Coll's in Tamil Nadu lets not consider the 40+ coll's waiting for approval... Now i'm in a really big ocean of 90,000+ odd Engineers who passed out during 08-09. That's one big lot !!!! you know !!! It really sucks to be in this big big bunch of Engineers but as i'm a Mechie... You know... (If you don't know you better find it out for yourself ! )

I in past few days was busy with some of my work so had to wait this long to update more on Sharan.R [yea thats me ;)]. In the mean time i wrote TANCET so that i can join MBA (No joke, I'm serious !!!) it was kinda ok... lets hope it turns out ok. Right now i'm listening to "Excuse me Mr.Kandhasamy" the song is quite good, the only song which is worth listening from that album. Its my pick for the week :)
As i'm running short of time, i have to cut it here,will update from here in the NXT log..... so until then take care.... i know its kinda too bad to stop all of a sudden... but i know this kind of polishes the end... if it doesn... you better !!! (yep 3 Exclamatory marks again ) ;)

The Project !!!

I know its kinda too late.... but the stuff which you will be reading was pinned on 14-04-09 ah well if you could count the days well and good, i don't want to make myself feel its been too long i din post....
But then after few days don remember when the final review also got over.... it was more like a waste of time for every one. In the name of external a guy from come college came to warm the seats,asked us questions for the sake of it and left as early as possible coz he had an appointment somewhere later the day.We expected a lot of drama to happen but then nothing happend... i mean nothing. When everyone came out they were like "machan zero and first review were the toughest,this is sappa matter... " So we were Happy... Very Happy ;)
And now even my sem exam's are over and i'm total vetti.... as i promised i'l add some pic'z from mothi's sister's wedding.... as of now..... go with this....



After going thru the bad ass'd air we have managed to complete the fabrication.... er we completed it like two weeks back and all, but only now did i get time to post it. so here i don want to mokka pottufy with all the stories i'l make it as short as possible. The entire fabrication was carried out in our company and it took onli 8 hours to complete it (took two days but we would have worked onli for 4 hours mostly during evenings each day). Then we moved it a shop in kovaipudur, did some minor work there like filling refrigerants then moved it to gowtham's home for testing purpose. The pics are from his house !!!

The Story Continues......

Days passed by after our zero review....

Comes in first review.... just like everyone we start our work only the day before.... we decided not to bother our Off-campus guide and planned that we do our ppt presentations on our own.... and after 1 hour in the "Google Ocean" i got some papers and bla bla articles and managed a 20 slide ppt. We were like "machi chance-a illa no one can beat us this time". And we partitioned the slides so that each gets a chance to explain, We settled with the following plan - Gowtham will do the intro,Mothi will explain the concept,I will explain the process,Saravanan will do the finishing touches !!!! we decide this and we depart.... oh i forgot to tell you this time we did the slides in my PC ;) Home advantage :)

Next day- First review....
We went to college as usual and we were boasting "machi 20 slides da, de 20 slides da".Just then Mr.K.P.Balaraja Gopalan Our Ex-Class first enters the scene and asks what the matter is we tell him about our 20 slides he just shook his head and remained silent for sometime and came near me and told machi we have "47 slides". I was like ada narayana... Nammala vida periya mokkaiya irukkan.... and i reported this matter in the gang and we were like de de de.... bla bla bla.... This time the jury got even stronger it was Mr.JX,MBA,ECE,Civil,Mech Hod's. Every other batch was scared but we remained positive coz we knew how Mr.JX would ask questions. Our batch was supposed to be the 7th to do the presentation,Mr.JX took time to start the presentation. The event started at around 1200 Hrs and by 1300 Hrs they completed only 6 batches and they went to lunch.... we got pissed... we were also hungry so we decided to go to canteen,the worst place for input in the entire city !!!!
After lunch we all were back.... Our guide came out and told us "Princi illa,namma Hod apram Mba Hod avalo tha". he also added they don dig much but ask everyone just one question "what have you done so far ?". We were ok about it as Er.S had some quotation and some brochures to console the staff's.... in we go and we start to present.... Our Hod stops and asks us to come closer and he just asked one question "is it possible for you to fabricate this ?" we replied in chorus "yes" and he asked us to explain and we do that.... and leave the place happily !!!!!

I'm feeling lil sleepy now.... din sleep today in our coll so....... You know.... the reaction... Review Continues.......

My Project,The story so far.....

Actually speaking my project is really about Refrigeration. I don think that was a really good start up never mind as this line adds some glitz to the above line lets forget about the start up... ;) Back to the project, the title of our project is big not very big compared to tarun's project.Don ask me his title i dunno what it is also i'm sure even he doesn know the full title [I bet dude... i know i know ;)]. Here goes the Title "Performance Studies on Solar-air Source Heat Pump Water Heater". Everyone in our department including our H.O.D had to read it again.

The day was a weekday dunno when but sure it was some freaky working day...Err here i'm going to tell you our story of how we faced our "Zero Review"

The day before.....
Our manager "Er.Saravanan" (He wrote this name in his note,Pl. Note his name.He's our class first) called me up and the following convo took place

Er.S : "machan tomorrow zero review da wat to do"
Me : Oh appadiya.... ok so tel what is the matter why did you call...
Er.S : de dash tomo seriousa review da.... not comedy we have show in ppt what we are going to do in our project
Me : ada gonniya.... ok ok come home we'll do something....
Beep Beep
Enna looku.... phone vechachu.....

They called up our Real Guide and asked him what to do he told "ok pa wait sometime I'll send some slides just show it tomo" He sent a mail to us saying that his PowerPoint got corrupted so he's sent word by word on in what manner the slides must be prepared by a ".doc" file. At this point of time ER.s called me and told me to come to their room and i went there... then they showed me the file which our guide had sent, i bet no one can send it as simple and clear as he did.... we started to get into work bla bla bla.... 15 minutes passed by "machi success" Shouted Mothi Kiruba Shankar aka Eating machine aka Pothy's. we all(Me.Er.S,Gowtham Shankar) were eager to see what he has done... oh by the way he's not the one who did all the work it was me and Er.S, he was just giving some final touches to it.... and we sent it to our guide for him to check.After sometime a Er.S got a call "enna pa oru vela kudutha olunga panna theriyatha......." he spoke for the next five minutes Only him silence for our Er.S's Side....Only then we realized that we just put the matter correctly but not the proper font which he mentioned and in some pages the size too was missed by us... Never mind he sent the ppt file with all the corrections made.... Good Him !!!!

Now its supposed to be the day when the review was to be presented..... Fayaz the so called class rep aka "pi-aakee" (No question No Answers on this) came into the hall and told the respective guides must be present there when they are presenting, we went to our college guide "Mr.M.jayanth Kumar" remba nalla manasu kaarar (Nejama... Avvalo Nallavar) told us "achacho" morning full-a class irukkey... afternoon paathukalam..... Lunch.... Back to hall.... Some how we were the last batch to present our guide had some work... no choice.... until then the jury consisted only the H.O.D's of civil and MBA(Note the MBA HOD here). Here comes the twist - Enters the Great Mr.Joesph Xavier... Er i'm not sure if i can add what all is his nick names... I'm not going to get into that topic now as i can write for pages,lets make it a separate post. We play the presentation the name slide pop's up, Gowtham was about to explain the first half...."One minute" comes a voice, we all turn back only to find its from Mr.J X, Oops i forgot to tel who that is... btw he's our Principal. Damn it we all have our faces down Er.S and Mothi told in chorus "sethom da machi" Mr.JX told i don't want to see all these things just tell me what is about. We were ok about and it and took turns to explain him and he was convinced about our project and told its a "Good project to go with". But one things sir added The MBA wala dunno what his name is.... "explain me about heat pump ?" he popped his first question @ Us !!!! ("explain me about heat pump ?" this is how he asked us). Er.S being the brightest of all started it... Mothi did it next... I did it next.... Gowtham also did explain in all possible ways.... Until this point of time we were all speaking in engleepeech... Mothi lost his temper and asked him "saar tamil-la vena solta ?" and started for some 10 mins roughly Er.s contd Gowtham and me joined.... he was not ready to accept,we even showed the paper in which the exact explanation was published he was not ready to accept it he blindly told "that is all wrong you go study properly and come i'l accept your project" Mr.JX told its ok sir let them carry on,But Mr.MBA Hod insisted that we come and deal with him before we proceed with the project..... the time taken for all those things to happen : 1 hour 5 mins. we were pissed off and
Gowtham was like "goyyaley avan mattum kaila sikkina sethan da"
Mothi "aalum mandaiyum paaru sonna purinchu kanum illa pothitu irukkanum"
Me "Machi veetuku pogala da pasikkudu"
Er.S "De nee vera en da.... mudiyala come lets go"

We saw the jury coming out of the hall we all muted ourselves..... then we got down the steps and waited near the exit of the main building,crossed Mr.MBA and JX,Mr.Mba told "Thambi nalla padichutu vaanga pathathu... I'm not convinced". We just shook our head and walked away no body spoke anything for the next five mins we all were exhausted.... Home was the destination for us all.... phew long post i know thanks for getting so long....

One of the very important events that happened in the last few months that i felt i must write here was my buddy Mr.Mothi Kiruba Shankar,B.E. 's sisters marriage. I was not able to attend the marriage which was held near chennai, the place was called something like aarani.... literally translating to six teams i know its a terror mokkai still can't stop the flow... So i made it a point to attend the reception and i did succeed it was in thanjavur. ME,Rajasekar(Mek), Pattasu(Mek), Maharaja(Junior), Selva(Jun's Frd),Sub Ram(Jun) went there by bus the road was ok till trichy, but then it got worse from trichy until we reached thanjavur... Then we took rest in his newly built house and visited the Thanjavur Periya Kovil and Attended the reception,Left to cbe the next day by Train... The train journey was a sappa journey coz it was a passenger train.... I'l surely upload the pics which i took there in thanjavur... I'm sure you'l enjoy the pics, see ya then........
